On these pages, I'm posting just a few samples of my "un-chibi" art. There are samples of my anime and video game fanart, and are ordered by date. My style's definitely shifted over the years, and I always think it's interesting to see how someone's changed over time.
I have a few more pieces I may add in the future, but this is, at least, a start.
In any case, here you go:
Comics:
Date: May 2009
Chara: Gambit from X-Men
Description: Always my favorite X-Men in the '90's cartoon, I just felt like drawing him in my own style after re-watching the series on DVD.
Date: June 2009
Chara: Gambit and Rogue from X-Men
Description: My favorite X-Couple, I had a lot of fun with this one, incorporating a color scheme inspired by the anime Gankutsuou.
Anime:
Date: March 2003
Chara: Vash from Trigun
Description: I drew this to get signed at a convention, but it never was. There is absolutely none of my own style here - this is a straight "redraw" of a cel from the series (in episode 25).
Date: March 2003
Chara: Vash from Trigun
Description: This was also drawn to be signed, but never was. This is a straight "redraw" of the famous shot of Vash that also appears on the first DVD.
Date: July 2005
Chara: Hakkai from Saiyuki
Description: This is Hakkai in youkai form, using the anime model as a base. I never saw his face in youkai form when I watched the series, so I decided to draw my own version.
Date: February 2006
Chara: Roy Mustnag from FullMetal Alchemist
Description: All hail Mustang, my fave character from FMA :-). I just felt like making a brush drawing of him, crossing my style with the anime's.
Video Game:
The following was a series I did in February 2004, and was the first time I took a character from a game and drew them in a style more my own. Most of the cast of Final Fantasy 7 is represented, albeit with a few slight costume changes here and there (I never have liked Vincent's shoes...)

Here are a couple of "couples" pictures I did. Cloud and Aeris turned out okay, but Squall and Rinoa were just like I had them pictured in my head. The colored print of Squall and Rinoa will be available for purchase soon.

And, ending this section for now, here's a few of my quick brush pen portraits of various characters in my own style. There's just something about the quick, loose nature of these kind of drawings that make them appeal to me.
The two rows are, from left to right:
Row 1: Reno, Sephiroth, Squall, and Tifa
Row 2: Zell, Vincent, Cloud, and Sora (older version)
